Ono Sokki Technology, Inc. launches their new GS-4630 linear gauge sensor.
This gage sensor is capable of measuring dimensions, thickness, displacement,
height, depth, flatness and more. This gage sensor uses the proven linear glass scale technology. The main advantage of this principle is that you can maintain high consistent accuracy throughout its entire range.
The GS-4630 produces highly accurate measurements of 0.00004 ( 0.001mm ), with a measuring range of 0 - 30mm ( 0 - 1.2 ).
In our endurance testing, this gauge sensor is rated over 5 million cycles
(measuring probe actuation).
This slim sensor was built to fit tight quarters, where conventional sensors
would be considered bulky to be used. Ideal for mounting inside of machinery with limited access space.
To add to this sensors ruggedness, a waterproof seal was added to make it
( resistance equivalent to IP-64G ). In addition, a dust bellow is provided for extra
protection to enable accurate measurements in a harsher environment.
The GS-4630 proves highly resistant to dust, chips, water and oil, and immune to
tough conditions found in manufacturing environments such as many production floors.
This gauge was built more robust and stands up to much higher shock and vibration
then previous generations of gauges.
The GS-4630 comes equipped with a 15 foot signal cable. If more than the standard 15 foot cable is needed, you may easily add optional extension cables up to 100 feet.
This gauge is directly compatible with a large array of remote displays, comparators and interfaces with various outputs available (Analog, GO/NOGO, RS-232C, BCD, Ethernet) for connecting to a printer, PC, PLC, SPC data acquisition system etc.
A wide variety of interchangeable contact points are compatible and available.
Available optional pneumatic lifter to control the measuring spindle is easy to install on automated machines.
